I recieved my stimulus for $1,200 but I did not recieve a additional $500 for my dependent. I filed my 2019 taxes as well and included my dependent on it

How old is your dependent?  Only 16 and under qualifies for the extra $500 stimulus.

Yes, dmhands is correct. Also, if you did not file 2019 until very recently, the 2018 tax return would have been used. If your dependent was not on the 2018 return, that could also explain why.

 

While this will be corrected if your dependent qualifies, the correction would be done on the 2020 Tax Return, due April 15, 2021.

My dependent is 11months. I filed my 2019 taxes on February 24 and received it a week later.

Since your 2018 return did not have a dependent listed, the IRS may have first sent you only the 1,200 payment. You will get the additional 500 as a payment this year or as a credit next year when you file your 2020 tax year return.
