Question

I sent my amended return to The Department of Treasury Internal Revenue Service Austin, 73344 instead of The Department of Treasury Internal Revenue Service Austin 73301.

What else could I do? From my research these zip codes are within 18 minutes of eachother and are both IRS buildings.

You should be fine. I would wait about 21 days and then you can check your amendment status directly through the IRS at the website below to make sure:
