I spent $9,600 on the physical windows (not including labor, installation) in 2023 and Turbotax says I only qualify for a $200 tax credit. Why not the full $600?

It's worth noting...I have never filed for an energy tax credit of any sort before and I am not claiming any other energy efficient home improvements for 2023.

The Home Energy Credit Section of TurboTax is not currently up to date.  A release updating this section is expected on February 7th.  Please come back after that date to enter your Insulation expenses to claim the Home improvement Energy Credit.

This means until then, the calculation is not accurate so when the form is updated you may be getting more back.

Did you get this problem resolved? I am having the same issue but worse. Turbo Tax is giving me $0 in tax credits.
