I submitted an amended Fed. return due to a new K1 schedule. The amended Fed return was rejected. Is there box mismatch between the 1041 and the 1040-X?

Turbotax appears to be referencing the data entry boxes from a 1040-X form, where my K1 schedule is a 1041 form. Is the solution to mail in the amended Federal return?

what type of entity did you use to enter the 1041 k-1? it should be trusts and estates. not partnership or S-corp.

you use the amend icon and then enter the k-1 info using the proper entity type.

It is a trust estate distribution that is to be divided equally between my brother and I. I entered half of the total distributed amount. on my return.

I am totally frustrated after attempting to correct the issue.
