I think i accidently answered the question about owning an abode. How can i get this corrected?

Have you already filed your return? If so, you will need to wait for your return to be Rejected or Accepted before you can complete an Amendment. If you need to correct a form after you filed it, please see this Help Article for instructions on how to do this.

If you haven't filed your return, please follow the steps below:

Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
Click the "Deductions & Credits" tab at the top of your screen
Click "Start/Edit" next to "Mortgage Interest, Refinancing, and Insurance (Form 1098)"

Did you answer something incorrectly about owning a home----did you need to enter mortgage interest or property taxes? Or are you referring to that question that asks if the U.S. was your principal place of abode for at least six months?
