I tried to do my taxes on e-file but I couldn't find me 1040 until recently

And the IRS rejected my taxes how do I go about redoing my taxes on e-file instead of having to mail them in

As long as you have not sent your return via the regular mail, you can follow the instructions here.

If you have sent them in by mail, you cannot e-file as you can only submit one return.
