I use Upwork as a freelancer. Each dollar I make, the site takes a percentage out as a service fee. Can I deduct these amounts for my taxes?

I also pay $20 a month for a membership to gain more features on the freelance job site. They provided no tax forms for me.

These expenses are deductible, but you will have to use Home & Business, or Self-Employed to take advantage of it. These are the products that set you up as a small business, and it does sound like you are one. Get a copy and give it a try. We're here to help.
