I used a Pin No as I believe was accurate. If it was not will I be notified, I need to avoid a delay. How I can check?

To file the 2018 return you needed to enter either the 2017 AGI or self selected PIN ... if you did not enter one of those correctly then expect the return to be rejected. Then you can try again and resubmit the return ... expect this to cause a delay.
