I’ve already filed but I got another tax form in the mail how do I file

Once your returns have been e-filed (or mailed) & accepted, any changes you would need to make to your returns would have to be done by amending your returns.  Amended returns cannot be e-filed, they must be mailed.  It can take up to 16 weeks for an amended return to be processed & any refund due with an amended return is sent by check.

If your return gets rejected, you can then add the form & re-e-file.

The amendment forms will not be available until mid to late February (1040X for Federal), you would have to wait until the form is available in TurboTax before you can amend your return.

To amend a return, if you used TurboTax Online, simply log in to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.” If you used the CD/download product, sign back into your return and select “Amend a filed return.”

Three weeks after mailing your amended return, you can start tracking it at the IRS Where's My Amended Return? tracking tool.  Please allow at least 16 weeks for the IRS to process your amended return.
