Question

I've seen some people saying that their tax refund amount updated with their Unemployment Tax Break refund, but mine hasn't. Is that normal?

I got an email saying that I would receive it, but my refund amount hasn't changed.

Ok ... TT did update for the change however they have undone their updating mistake to avoid further confusion later on.

they may have done it for online users but desktop users could face problems when trying to e-file their 2021 returns. the 2020 returns were not changed back. the AGI on them no longer matches what was filed and therefore could be rejected for AGI mismatch. Thanks Turbo___

This is going to be a real mess next year ... hope they figure it out by then. Of course you don't need the prior year AGI when using a paid tax pro so this will not effect my business.
