If you have not yet filed your tax return, enter the direct deposit information on your tax return before you file it. The place to enter it is in the File section where you choose how you want to receive your refund.

 

If you have already filed your return and it has been accepted, you can't change the way you will receive your refund. 

 

If you need to enter direct deposit information for the stimulus payment, use the IRS online portal: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment
