I want to add a 10((R form to the returns I did not mail. I do not want to do an admendment. Can I just update the file?

I want to add a 1099R form but do not want to do an admendment. Can it be done before after printing and before mailing?

Yes if you haven't efiled or mailed it yet. Click on Add a State to let you back into your return.

Enter a 1099R under

Federal Taxes on the left side

Wages & Income at the top

Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security,

Then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plans (1099R) - click Start or Revisit

If you are filing a Joint return be sure to pick which person it is for.
