    Then look at your own tax return.   A federal refund is shown on line 20 of your Form 1040.  If you owed tax to the IRS it is on line 23.

    If you had TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, do some math.  Subtract the fees from your refund--and remember to include the refund processing fee of $39.99 ($44.99 in CA) to have a third party bank extract the fees and send you the rest.
