Question

I was 18 when the first stimulus was passed, if my dad claims me and didn’t get any stimulus money off of me, will i get that money on my return or will he?

he says that since he didn’t get any stimulus money off of me, i can still get it even if i file as a dependent for 2020.

No one will receive your stimulus payment if you are 18 and claimed as a dependent. Adult dependents are not eligible to receive the Recovery Rebate Credit. If you will not get the credit if you file as a dependent.
