I was informed that TurboTax customers aren't getting the $600 stimulus if we filed last year. I would like clarification on this if I will be getting my stimulus or I need to find another tax service

Here are the options since TurboTax does not handle money:

1. You paid for your return before filing or

2. Did you have the fees taken from your refund or get the Green Dot debit card?

If #1, the stimulus check will go to your bank account/ home address directly from the IRS - the same as your federal refund.

If #2, the stimulus check will go to SBTPG/Green Dot and then be routed to you. My understanding is an additional 1-2 days. Anybody that chose to pay their TurboTax fee out of their refund opted to have SBTPG as an intermediary.   Go to this Santa Barbara Tax Products Group website for stimulus information.
