Question

I was paid some stimulus on my taxes and am not sure if it was the first or second payment, or both, and I am doing an amendment and need to know

The stimulus money you received as listed on your tax return in line 30 (recovery rebate credit) would be the balance due you for the first two stimulus payments. The first payment was $1,200 for taxpayers and $500 for each dependent under the age of 17. The second payment was $600 for each taxpayer and each dependent. The amount listed on your tax return would be the total stimulus due you less the amount you had received before you filed your tax return.
