If I already filed my taxes with another company, how do I put that on turbo tax to check my status.

You do not use TurboTax to check the status of return filed elsewhere. In fact, TurboTax cannot check the status of returns filed using TurboTax. Once a tax return has been filed, it is only controlled by the IRS. The IRS does not tell TT anything about a return after it has been filed.

You are on your own to check the IRS refund site to check on your refund.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 34of your 2020 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
