I'm receive SSA. I did not receive a 1st or 2nd Stimulus

@wendy_peek It depends. The stimulus payments are based on 2020 information tax information.

 

@ Dlareg File a 2020 tax return to get your 2020 stimulus payments even if you are not required to file.

 

The IRS says, “If you're eligible – and either didn’t receive Economic Impact Payments or if you think you qualify for more than you received – you’ll need to file a 2020 tax return and claim the Recovery Rebate Credit even if you otherwise are not required to file a tax return.”

 

IRS Free File online is especially valuable for people often referred to as non-filers, who do not have a tax filing obligation. These are people whose taxable income is below certain income levels. For example, single people with incomes below $12,400, the amount of the standard deduction, would have no filing obligation if they had no other special tax issues.
