Question

If I didn't make enough last year and it says "you don't have a refund or tax due" - should I still file my returns?

You are not required to file if you have no Refund or Tax Due.  Just keep your income documents for your records.

If you are a Dependent, normally you can get a refund of any Federal Tax or State Tax you paid on your wages.

If you are not a Dependent, make sure you go through the Federal Review section, as you may qualify for a Recovery Rebate Credit
