If I have made a mistake and I am trying to go back and file for an extension since I can't pay right now. How do I fet back to that option?

Please help me to get back to this option

go to IRS "Make a Payment" page and indicate payment is for an EXTENSION.

your request is approved immediately and you will get a confirmation number for your records.

You must pay some or all of the tax you will owe, which is due May 17th.

If you pay only a tiny amount, IRS may apply penalties when you do actually file later on (by Oct 15).
