If I’ve received a letter stating taxes withheld are different than what the employer reported what should I do ?

Even though I filed using my w2 I’ve received a letter stating my employer reported a different amount , how do I resolve this ?

Did you send the IRS a copy of the W2 you got? Did you ask the employer? Does your 1040 line 17 match all your W2 box 2?
