If my previous return has still not been received, how can I fix that. I’m almost positive it’s due to the bank account it’s scheduled to go into is now closed.

I have tried contacting the irs directly and even tried contacting turbo tax for help. Nothing seems to be working please help.

Use this tool to track your refund.

Go here to check the banking information that you entered for the IRS in your TurboTax account.

If the account that you asked the IRS to deposit your refund into is closed before that can happen then the payment will bounce back to the IRS. Once they are notified that the payment has been returned their system will send your refund out as a paper check mailed to the address that you entered onto your 2024 tax return.

TurboTax can't help with this, this is strictly an IRS issue. I do not know if it is possible to stop this process once it has started but if it is possible to interrupt it and have your funds direct deposited into a different account instead of waiting 6 weeks for a check in the mail then it will be by contacting the IRS.
