If my state and federal total hasn't come in in over an month. What should I do?

You can call the IRS for your federal return, if it has been longer than 21 days from the date your return was accepted, at 1-800-829-1040. There is a high call volume.    

When calling the IRS do NOT choose Option 1.   

Choose Option 2 after you choose the language.   

Then Press 1    

Then Press 3  

Then Press 2, it will then transfer you to an agent.  

Your state return is completely separate from your federal return. States work differently and on a different timeframe. You can track your return through your state's tax website. They will keep you up to date on the progress of your return. There's usually a phone number provided for you to call too. Just click on your state from the list and follow the instructions. https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3300211
