If my tax return document line 27a, 27b, 27c were blank, how do i amend my returns and change it?

The Form 1040 federal tax return Line 27a is Earned Income Credit (EIC), line 27b is Nontaxable combat pay election and line 27c is Prior year (2019) earned income. 

To amend your 2021 income tax return, click here. Once your amended return has all zero's:

1. Enter the new information or changes in TurboTax. 
2. Combat pay is not taxable, but that will be reflected on your W-2 form. So, all you need to do is enter W-2 form in TurboTax and the program will determine the correct way to report your combat pay on your tax return.
3. Once you enter your W-2, continue through the onscreen interview.
4. TurboTax will calculate the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), if you're eligible. 
5. If you're eligible, you'll have the option of using your 2019 earned income if it gets you a bigger refund.
