If the amount of the tax refund is greatly reduced from the stated amount of 2007 to 11.44 , what I can do?

The tax refund that was deposited into our checking account was $11.44 instead of the $1883 amount  after the fees were taken out of the orignal  amount of $2007

Best thing to do is to contact the IRS (or your state if it as your state) and speak to the tax specialist and see why the amounts were different. They will be able to tell you if they made adjustments to your return based on information that they had in their system, or if they are holding any of your refund back for verification purposes.
