I sent my taxes in on the 23 of February and the offset my refund .why is it taking so long?

Turbo Tax does maintain any information as to why the IRS is withholding your refund, or how long it takes once you have The IRS make adjustments. The IRS website is still the best way to track your refund status: https://www.irs.gov/refunds

IRS representatives can research the status of your return only if:

It's been more than 21 days since you received your e-file acceptance notification,
It's been more than 6 weeks since you mailed your paper return, or
The Where's My Refund? tool directs you to contact us.
