What?  If you file a tax return that shows tax due, yes, they notice that and expect you to pay what you owe.  The deadline for paying 2019 tax due has been extended to July 15, 2020.

 

Remember that even if you do not file your tax return, your W-2 and/or 1099's are sent to the IRS by employers, etc. so the IRS knows about the income you received.
