Im being audited but still have not gotten a decision when will I hear?

i was audited by mail in February and sent the requested info back and was supposdd to hear within 30 days and its been over 2 months

Probably because the IRS is still mostly shut down because of the Corona virus. Most manual audits have been put on hold.

**NOTE*** Due to the Corona virus the IRS is operating short staffed. All field offices are closed and some processing centers are all but closed. Any tax return that requires hand processing will probably have long delays. Mailed returns are not being processed at all at this time. Most phone service has been curtailed.
