Income Taxes Paid in 2019 was $14552, not $219,484 as listed on my return by Turbo Tax.  Please correct.

We don't have access to your tax return here in the TurboTax Community, so we can't see where the issue may be.

However, we can gladly help you troubleshoot the return by suggesting a few common places to look.

Income Tax paid in TurboTax comes from a few different entry areas, and sometimes we see numbers like this when income and withholding boxes are switched around, or a decimal is in the wrong place.

This can happen with an import error or just a minor typo.

Follow these steps first, and if they don't identify the source, let us know, and we can brainstorm a little more:

  1. Login to TurboTax.com.
  2. Click on Income & Expenses and select Review/Edit.
  3. Click Edit/Add beside Job (W-2) (if applicable).
  4. Scroll down and check the entry for Box 2.
  5. Scroll down and click Done.
  6. Repeat this for any additional W-2s.
  7. From the main Income & Expense page, click Edit/Add beside IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R) (if applicable).
  8. Click Edit beside each entry and then Continue.
  9. Scroll down and check the entry in Box 4.
  10. Scroll down and click Continue.
  11. Repeat for each additional 1099-R.

If this doesn't show any unusual withholding entries, please come back and let us know, and we can suggest a few other places to look.
