Income Verifcation? 60 day review

I called the IRS on Friday, which was 23 days after my husband and I filed our taxes. The lady I spoke with said that we would be receiving a letter in the mail for income verification. We have never had any issues with our taxes and file the same every year. We really can not afford to go through a review as we are in desperate need for a new vehicle, so we can keep our jobs and wont lose our house. Has anyone ever had anything like this happen? Were you able to get it expedited? Any information would be much appreciated.

TurboTax were r u??? We need some answers im going thru the same **bleep** 2019 taxes being held for 60 day review never had problem before lord be a shield

Having the same problem. Filed and excepted 2/10 where’s my refund says “still processing” tt152 no amount blank transcripts
Called irs 2/21...magically received a letter 60 day review dated 2/21!!🤔 🤔?
what is going on this year. There’s way to many reviews for this to be right! What’s the deal?

Same issue! Found out about an hour ago, I'm furious. They "can't verify" my husband's income! What??? There goes the car repairs, the down payment on the house we were looking to purchase this summer, my daughter's summer camp enrollment.....Please, some one PLEASE tell me this really is not going to take until May?!

Same crap is happening to us also...I don't get it never had to deal with this before or have never had to wait this long. Could it be that we purchased a house this year? Or the fact that we had a new baby this year? What is it that they need to verify that they couldn't see? I'm confused... also there wasn't a spot to enter medical we only had medical for half a year but still wasnt a spot to enter that at? Would that matter? Very very lost and confused...

Same thing here. First I was told 45 day review, it was a random screening. Now being told its a 60 day review, for income verification. Wouldn't tell me when that 60 days begins or ends!!! HELP! I've never had this issue before either!!!!
