Incorrect income tax return?

I live in Flint Michigan, but it is considered Mount Morris township. When I filed my taxes last night for my fiance and myself the individual income tax form printed. I've never had to do this in the past, and we're actually in the process of moving back to mount morris. Do I have to file these? Do I have to amend my return? I work out in Fenton, and my fiance works out in Birch run. So technically we only live in what is considered Mount Morris township, but my address indicates Flint. Please help because I have no idea what to do on these individual tax returns and I'm tempted to just ignore it but they say that I owe money and I don't think I do.

    1. You live in Flint, a Flint city tax return makes sense. If there is an exception, you may need to file a different version, part-year or non-resident. See Income Tax Division for Flint.

    2. It was not filed electronically so there is no need to amend your tax return.

    3. If income was reported to Flint, they will expect a return and any amount due. Verify your location within Flint and tax liability. You may need to discuss this with your employer for a corrected w2.
