Do grocery items bought off Amazon require payment of an Indiana Use Tax?

    Probably not.  According to the Indiana Department of Revenue, generally, the sale of food and food ingredients for human consumption is exempt from Indiana sales tax.

     

    Use Tax is incurred when you use a taxable item or service on which no sales tax has been paid, which does not sound like it applies to you.
