IRS adjusting my amount due by $500 versus TurboTax due to differences on Form 8812

I think there's an issue with TurboTax and Form 8812.  I followed all the prompts and answered the normal questions the normal way.  TurboTax return passed the error checks and was accepted by the IRS.  When I approached the website to make the payment today however, the amount due at the IRS is $500 more than the amount on the return.  No explanation at my house has arrived yet (it's been only four weeks).  When I look at the 2021 transcript online it says in the payments section....Schedule 8812 Additional Child Tax Credit $1,500 and Schedule 8812 Additional Child Tax Credit Per Computer $1,000.   Thus I believe there is an issue with the Form 8812 or the interview questions.

You may have  received an advance child tax credit during the year and that will affect the balance of the child tax credit due you. It will be listed on form 8812, in box 14(f) or 15(e). Many of the issues regarding the child tax credit come from misreporting of the amount of advance child tax credit you received, so you need to make sure you reported the correct amount that you received during the year.
