I used TurboTax Business to file a tax return for a trust. The status in TurboTax says that my return was accepted. I just received a letter from the IRS with a fine for failing to file taxes. While I am using their system for submitting quarterly payments, the IRS says that isn't enough and is also assessing penalties. Any idea why TurboTax and the IRS disagree about the status of the tax return?
