IRS Flagged my amended return

I filed an amended return which not have any monetary impact. The state accepted my return however the IRS flagged it. The IRS has requested I print the e-filed return and mail it to them. I am not clear exactly how to do this. Do I simply put the return in an envelope and mail it? Do I need to add a wet signature? Do I need to include any forms?

I’ve been searching for hours and haven’t found a clue what I need to do to satisfy them. Any help would be tremendously appreciated.

Print your return for mailing and send them all pages.

Don't send worksheets !

According to your post, that's what the IRS asked for.

Read the letter again, it should give you the mailing address.

Thank you for your reply. There was no letter, the information is what my Turbo Tsx tax expert told me. This is what adds to my confusion, I’m just hearing this word of mouth.

when I send in my e-file return should I provide a wet signature or just include form 8879?

is there anyway to talk to a live person at the IRS?

1) IRS doesn't tell TurboTax to relay messages to you.

2) If IRS needs info, they will contact you by mail.

3) use the "Where's my amended return"  page on IRS.gov to confirms IRS has your amendment and is working on it.

Maybe your "expert" is trying to tell you e-File failed and you would have to mail it instead, Ask for clarification.

4) search this forum for the phone menus sequence that will get you to a human at IRS.
