I sent my taxes in at the end of February, everything was signed and dated. Then they asked for more time to review the taxes. OK, fine. Now they want 60 more days to review and send my tax return to me. WTH!!!

Update: They just told me it was going to be 180 days. I dint know who I pissed off, but this is rediculas. The soonest I will be getting it is June 3rd. Completely unacceptable with all of the digital programs they have that basically do your taxes for you. And why aren't they advanced enough to have it so that taxes get checked on the way in? Just disappointed.

Frustrating as it is you just have to wait.

could be due to the firing of IRS personnel or perhaps many more returns than normal that were submitted had potential issues which require manual review.

Every IRS action takes 2 to 9 weeks.

    That's assuming there's somebody home.
