Without any context, it's hard to know exactly why you are asking the question, and what you mean by "going in as one deposit."  So I'll address it in general, and hopefully that will answer your question.

You can efile the Federal and state returns at the same time, but if you have both refunds, the refunds do not come together in a single direct deposit.  If you are getting a Federal refund and a state refund and selected direct deposit for each, they come in separate deposits.   They come from 2 different tax agencies, each doing their own thing on their own time frames.   If they were to arrive on the same day, it would be just a coincidence, but even then it would be 2 separate deposits.

Or are you referring to a summary screen where TurboTax adds the Federal and state refunds together just to show you how much in total you will have after you receive both?   If so, that doesn't mean they come together.
