Is anyone else having issues with their federal return? It says accepted on Turbo Tax; on the website for the IRS 'Wheres my refund' it says my refund' is still be being processed and a return date wi

Accepted means the IRS has taken ownership of the return and is now processing the return. Once they have finished processing your return, then it will move to approved. Once approved you will then receive a direct deposit date. Turbo Tax only provides an estimate based on the date you filed your return.

If you elected to have your fees deducted from your refund, the IRS will send your return to Santa Barbara Bank, where they will deduct the fees and then deposit any remaining refund into your account.
