You could probably see this in your IRS Account.

IRS Individual Online Account

Taxpayers with a Social Security number or an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number can create or access their IRS Individual Online Account to get information they need to file their return.

With an IRS Individual Online Account, people can:

  • View balance owed, payment history and schedule payments.
  • Cancel scheduled payments – new feature for 2024.
  • Get transcripts.
  • View or create payment plans.
  • See digital copies of some IRS notices.
  • View key data from their most recently filed tax return, including adjusted gross income.
  • Validate bank accounts and save multiple accounts, eliminating the need to re-enter bank account information every time they make a payment.
  • View, approve and electronically sign power of attorney and tax information authorizations from their tax professional.

You can find your past year tax returns---but TurboTax does not ever know when or even if you received your refunds.  TurboTax gets no information from the IRS or your state after they accept your return.  Your own bank or financial records should be looked at for when you received your refunds.  You can check your online account with the IRS ---that will give you a starting point.

You have to access your own account and/or  print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Start a 2023 return online and enter some personal information  so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

You can get a free transcript from the IRS or for a fee of $43, an actual copy of your tax return.
