Question

Is there anyway i can go back through to change stuff even if i already said file by mail

Yes. If you have not e-filed yet, you can go back through your return to make changes.  Use the Menu option on the left of the screen to choose the section you need to revisit.

If you did not e-file and did not mail out your tax returns yet, you can go back in to make changes to your return. Please see the instructions below:

Make changes before filing:

  1. Open your return in TurboTax.
  2. Go to the File section in the left menu.
  3. Add a State (this just gets you back in)
  4.  You may now make the corrections to your tax return.
