It has been 8 weeks since my NC return was accepted and it’s still showing in stage one

TurboTax does not receive updates from the your state once they have accepted your return. There is not a refund processing time provided by The North Carolina Department of Revenue except for an estimated time of 3 weeks once your return is in stage two per the video on this website: https://www.ncdor.gov/file-pay/refund-process.
