Has your efiled return been accepted?   You can check by logging back into your Online account and looking at the Tax Home page.   And you may have been emailed an acceptance notice.

If your Federal return has been accepted, then be sure you waited at least 24 hours after being accepted before using the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool.

Also since they just opened for processing 2 days ago,  it can be quirky each year when they first start up.  It may find the info at times, and then not find it at times, as it moves through various stages of processing.

Be sure you enter the correct figure in their tool.   Print out and look at your actual return.  Be sure you are entering only the  Federal refund amount and not a total refund amount that includes a state refund.   The amount to enter is on your Federal Form 1040, Line 21a.

And if you paid any fees out of your Federal refund, use the refund figure prior to the deduction of the fees.
