It's my first time filling taxes my federal was approved on the 25th of this month when would i expect to see my return its going by direct deposit?

While your return was approved to be submitted to the IRS on the 25th, the IRS began accepting returns on 1/29/2018. If you are expecting a refund by direct deposit, it should take between 2 - 3 weeks although at times it has been earlier. The best and most reliable way to keep track is to use the IRS Where Is My Refund. Within 7 -10 days information on your return status can be found at this link.
