Its been almost 2 months since i e filed my taxes and still do not have my return back yet what is the hold up snd why?

I seen something about the people that filed with the earned income credits or child tax creditd they are holding our checks up to 120 days why is that?

Yes, you can track your refund using the Where's my refund? tool.

If that doesn't show any information yet, sign in to your TurboTax account and make sure your return status shows as Accepted.

The average refund is issued in 21 days, but especially this year, the IRS sometimes holds up your refund while doing extra checks to verify that you are who you say you are.
