Last year I filed taxes for my husband and I We were approved to get back $1200 for the stimulus checks. But we never saw any of that money. How do I figure this out?

When I log into my tbotax account, a picture pops up that says "You received $1,200 last year!" And I'm like... Yea... No, no I didn't. I don't know how to go about fixing this problem

If you claimed the Recovery rebate credit in tax year 2020 for the stimulus payments that you did not receive, the amount of the credit is included in your refund. You will not get a separate check or bank transfer of $1,200 from the IRS.

So if you received your refund last year, then the $1,200 was included.

You can check the amount of the Recovery rebate credit on line 30 of your 2020 form 1040.
