last year we bought a Tesla, but I was never prompted to enter this information into my taxes, and now they are already filed. Would I have gotten more money refunded?

    You can amend the tax return that you filed for the EV credit.

     

    Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.
