Lived in NM 02/21-09/21, moved to WA. Filed NM return 2021. Filed 2022 fed return 02/2023. Received email stating need to file NM tax return. Why?

Email states "You are receiving this reminder because the information you provided on your federal return requires a state tax filing." I have lived in WA for the entire year of 2022, cannot think of a reason I would need to file for NM. Is this a marketing email just trying to get me to file state taxes or should I believe there is a legal reason that I do not know of?

If you were a WA resident for all of 2022 then disregard the email.

Thank you! I assumed as much but just wanted a second opinion to be safe. Unfortunately, turbotax does not offer human assistance...says it does but every time you choose to speak to a human it says none are available.
