Making a change on MY COMPUTER 1040 copy

Already filed TT with rental property (1) but would like to check what tax would be without.

Can I just delete pertaining items and get my info and then return that info and hit SAVE and be back to

original Filed Status.]

if you are using desktop save the original filed version under either the Turbotax name or used something like AS FILED. Then save it under a different name like WITHOUT then you can change anything you want in WITHOUT without the need to later change back the original which if you just make one tiny error you may not be able to e-file in 2024 or file with inaccurate prior year data which could affect the 2023 return and even result in an IRS letter. if you want you can even do multiple what-ifs and save each under a different name. later you can go back and delete the what-ifs you don't want
