I already filed and received my state income tax refund. Does a 1040cr7 automatically get filed by turbo tax? I don’t know if I’ve ever filed for the credit since I’ve been doing my own taxes. How do I know if I need to fill it out now?

It depends:

If you filled out the portion for the home heating refund, then you filed the 2024 Michigan MI-1040CR-7 Home Heating Credit Claim.
If you did not fill it out, you can file online using the link provided.

Please look at your tax return and see what forms you filed with the state.

To print or view your forms:

In desktop, switch to Forms Mode.
For online:
1. On the left side, select Tax Tools
2. Select Print center
3. Select Print, save or preview this year's return
4. If you have not paid, select pay now.
