I filed Friday and I misspelled the daycares name, added an extra letter, and I accidently switched two numbers for the amount making a 400 dollar higher difference.  Will the IRS know the its misspelled and correct the amount for me as well? I was told the IRS does not get copies of the childcare expense like they do with w2s.  I don't want them thinking I'm trying to get more money.

The IRS will match up the Daycare in question with their EIN and cross reference all entered amounts on your tax return. If they find anything doesn't match up, they will reject it and you will then have to amend the return.

If rejected, you would need to correct any information that caused your return to be rejected as well as make any other changes to your return that you see fit, then proceed to resubmit your return. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/how-do-i-fix-a-rejected-return/00/26136
